Babirusas are one of my favorite animals. There’s a few species of them but they’re all pretty similar: Hairless or near hairless wild pigs, the males have tusks that grow up out of their snout (and sometimes back into their skull depending on the species). They are endangered and I am really bummed that they’re not more well-known. :[ I highly suggest searching for them on google images, I think they are really neat and otherworldly looking.
You can also BUY ONE ON SHIRTS AND STICKERS HERE and spread the babirusa love: [link]
I already have quite a few piggies on my Redbubble but I REALLY WANTED TO MAKE A BABIRUSA SHIRT.
Whoa. That tusk going into its brain. That's crazy. I know you enjoy your pigs and deer. Do you at least have some of those skulls? Also, I bet you'd love a springbok skull. Or at least the horns.
I do! I don't even know how many deer skulls I have at this point, those things practically grow on trees haha. As for pigs I have two wild boar skulls, some sort of giant pig jaw, and two javelina skulls (they're not actually pigs but they're close enough) Aw yeah springbok have cute horns! They look like hearts. Kudu and gemsbok have super neat horns too.
Sounds like you got a good collection. I collect animals, too. Nothing in particular. Mostly furs though because I use a lot of animal parts for my puppets and projects. I know I have one hog skull. Two that are in the process of being de-fleshed. I have a jar of four pig feet. A jar with pig lungs and esophagus. Jar of pig small intestines and kidneys. Jar of pig tongue, eyes, and pituitary glands. A jar with deskinned pig face. And finally a jar with pig heart. (I gave the other heart to someone I like) But other than the pig stuff. I have twenty pounds of random fur scraps. Three dozen different animal faces. My favorites include a brush wolf in its winter coat, a badger, and a north american otter. I have an articulated half coyote skeleton. A dozen different skulls. Three full sized coyote pelts. One full size red fox pelt. Two full size beaver pelts. Two beautiful bobcat pelts. Two awesome hare pelts. And some of my more interesting pieces: 25 buffalo teeth, 25 porcupine claws, a lynx foot, a cured coyote arm and foot, two bobcat feet, and a wolf face. I have plenty more than that but that's just what comes to mind. Boy do I love animals.
Bet you can't wait til your rich and famous so you can get one of them skulls.
