My final assignment for my children's book illustration class was to pick any story and do two 2-page spreads from any part of it. I chose "The Three Little Pigs". The pigs were originally brothers I think, but I made the middle sibling a lady-pig.

Page 2 of spread 1.

I'll post the second spread tomorrow!

Done on 8x10 sketchbook paper; With Prismacolor markers, Prismacolor pencils, Copic Multiliners, Helix Pens, and white acrylic paint.

I love this style so much. :heart: And the version of the story I grew up with had one sister and two brothers, so this is extra awesome. 8D

this is just lovely in every way possibly cute gross lil piggies! that lil guy to the right is absolutely adorable, but i love the big brother pig in the picture in the background, its so great that you have this lovely playful style, its really well suited tpo childrens books i feel, despite not being cutesy in style :D
